Kare Group has concluded an investment in Pihlas Resort, the most luxurious Finnish resort in the world! Kare is a part of an investor group building a resort primarily for high-end luxury tourists.

Pihlas Resort is currently being built in the municipality of Joroinen by the lake Saimaa, due to be opened winter 2023. The area will feature forest suites of 33 square meters and forest villas of 77 square meters. Both are equipped especially with demanding high-end tourists in mind.

Kare sees this investment as an opportunity to utilize so called "glamping" (glamorous & camping) phenomena. Wealthy and modern travelers are looking for down to earth experiences topped with modern comforts. On top of this, Pihlas is also about various other activities such as padel, tennis and outdoors jacuzzi.

Sustainability has been a key issue for the resort right from the beginning. Construction materials are specifically chosen with this issue in mind, and the resort widely utilizes solar power. Geothermal energy is used to heat the facilities. Even bio waste is not wasted but used to nurture growth in the local garden to provide organic ingredients for the very same resort.

Pihlas Resort encourages visitors to use public transportation, but if need be, it can be of service to even most demanding international luxury tourists, as the area has its own helicopter field. Pihlas Resort can organize a helicopter transportation straight from Helsinki-Vantaa airport directly to the resort.
