Harri Aho, who has among other things previously worked as a CEO for Pohjola Hospital and Terveystalo, has joined Kare Group as a partner. Along with the arrangement Aho was simultaneously appointed a member of the board for Kare Invest. His latest position was of a development director for LähiTapiola, where he was responsible for the fields of ICT, health, economy, safety and innovations.
"Harris experience in the managerial positions of private healthcare and business development in general are outmatched. We have decisively strengthened Kares team with abilities that can support our portfolio companies specifically through board memberships. Having Harri join us is part of this continuum and I'm warmly looking forward to working with him!" summarises Jake Aalto, managing director for Kare Group.
During his career Aho has been involved in over 200 corporate arrangements and tasked with management positions in several growth companies. In the private healthcare industry he had a view spot to follow and for his own part execute the transformation and restructurisation of the industry in the 2010's.
"The speed of growth and specifically the strong community around Kare have impressed me. Now that after long consideration I have decided to leave my duties in LähiTapiola management, I wanted to give my expertise and networks to disposal of unlisted Finnish growth companies. I want to do my part in helping companies with their growth and connect funders with interesting opportunities. Kare already has an impressive portfolio and together we can strengthen it ever further." comments Harri Aho.
Aho will take his position in Kare Invest board immediately. Upcoming tasks in Kare portfolio companies are told later.
By his degree Aho is an MBA from University of Jyväskylä (1997).
