Telinerent acquires Turku-based Haksa Oy – the deal triples the turnover

03.08.2023

Founded in 2000, AA Telinerent, which rents scaffolding and weather shelters, has acquired a significant 40% minority stake in Turku-based Haksa Oy.

In connection with the M&A transaction, AA Telinerent Oy will change its name Telinerent Oy, and Haksa Oy's name will become Telinerent Länsi Oy. The deal triples the turnover of the Telinerent group and makes it an even more significant operator in the rental of scaffolding and weather protection throughout southern Finland.

The resulting company will be able to serve its customers in Finland with a significant 40,000 m2 of scaffolding equipment and 15,000 m2 of weather protection equipment.

During the last few years, Telinerent has invested significantly in growth, and it e.g. in 2022 appointed Tomi Koivuniemi, experienced in the field, as its business director.

Telinerent is part of the Kare Group investment company's portfolio. Kare Group is a domestic family business that invests in small and medium-sized unlisted companies, which has expanded its portfolio with significant acquisitions in recent years.

"With the merger, we aim for the ability to provide comprehensive service. The resulting entity is significant in its industry, and can meet any large project needs in Finland. Our goal is to further increase the overall turnover, despite the challenging market situation." Kare Group's managing director Jake Aalto summarizes the background of the deal.
